So here we are again! Today, we're very pleased to show off our plans for the new season of ERA. Two championships, lots of rallies and a long history.
This time we have an expanded list of car categories, ranging from the early 90s to the late 2010s. As we are sharing a car list across the two championships, we thought this would be one of the best time periods to relive.
The first season exceeded our expectations in every way. Not just the numbers, but the response we've had has been unbelievable. We're always going the extra mile to bring one of the most unique championships on the RallySimFans plugin.
The rallies we've chosen are from a wide range of national championships, and all offer something different from the last. We're also proud to say that each championship has 0 reused stages, so every rally will have a fresh feel. (There are some shared between the British and Irish series, but none are repeated across a single championship).
When we started planning the next season, the original idea was to have an expanded UK calendar. However, after seeing the lack of an Irish series this year, we decided we'd give it a go. Personally speaking, we're huge fans of Irish rallying. The fact that we have the chance to do this is very exciting, and we're incredibly thankful to have the backing of Ross Ryan from the RBR Ireland & UK team.
Once the British Series ends, we will have a short break between the two series. Once the Irish Series is ready to get underway, the website and Discord server will have a small rebrand as well.
Our whole philosophy is to relive different eras of our favourite motorsport. I hope we can do the Irish championship justice this year.
Today, we're very proud to show you the last couple months of our work. Sign-up's for the British Series are officially open. Make sure to check the entry page for all the info.
Between now and January there will be some small updates and aditions to this website, so keep your eye out.
We hope you enjoy!
