English Rallying Association (ERA) is a championship for RBR which is organised by Aizo Automobile Club. This championship uses the latest version of the RallySimFans plugin. This means to compete in the championship you must have an account on the RSF Website and be using the latest install of the plugin.
Due to rules about replay checking (listed below) it is highly recommended that you are in either the RallySimFans Discord server or the AAC Rallying Discord server.
All updates for the championship will be posted simultaneously on both servers, that means it isn't necessary to join both servers. As well as this, all info can always be found on this blogger site. If you have any further questions please ask an organiser.
Be kind and courteous. We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
No hate speech or bullying. Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things such as race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
Keep chats savvy. Make sure you are posting in the correct channels. Be prepared to move with the flow of the chat if the subject changes, and don't spam.
Enjoy yourself!
The championship will consist of 5 rounds with the possibility of some non-championship rounds being added to the calendar. All rallies will be announced via this blog and the appropriate Discord channels.
Each rally will begin on a Monday and run for 1 week.
The tire for each event will be fixed.
Realistic damage will be used during each rally.
We will be using the Super Rally rule.
Pacenotes will be set to "only pacenote audio".
Roadbooks containing the list of stages used will be posted before each event. You can always find them on this blog and in the pinned section of the appropriate Discord channels.
It is prohibited to organise or participate in rallies that wholly or partially replicate our roadbooks. Such conduct is deemed unsportsmanlike. Competitors involved in these rallies will receive a warning for the initial violation and will face disqualification upon a second violation.
The organisers reserve the right to request replay files to check for possible cheating. Please make sure you are in either the RSF Discord or AAC Rallying Discord servers (as mentioned above).
During replay checks, the following infractions are considered cheating:
Cutting corners (all four wheels off the road).
Wall-riding.
Speeding over the finish and intentionally crashing the car for a time advantage.
In the event that a competitor is found to be cheating, they may face a penalty. The extent of this penalty will be determined by the seriousness of the infraction and the competitor's history of prior violations.
Replays are required to be submitted within 72 hours following the initial request from the organisers. Should the file not be submitted within this time frame, the competitor will be disqualified.
